Video Card Driver Doesn't Support Aero Effects
The current video card may support aero with a driver that is compliant with the windows display driver model (wddm). contact the manufacturer of your computer or video card for a wddm-compatible. Hello. i have a problem with running the aero effect on my reinstalled win 7. it worked before. troubleshooter doesn't help me. the message says, that my video card doesn't support aero effects.... If i click on the link that says, "troubleshoot problems with transparency and other aero effects", but it just tells me "windows system assessment tool has stopped working". it finally comes to a point that it tells me, "the video card driver doesn't support aero effects"..
Windows aero is supported only with a driver based on windows display driver model (wddm). windows aero isn't supported with a driver based on windows* xp display driver model (xpdm or xddm). to check if a wddm driver is installed, find your graphics driver version number and look at the first number.. The aero feature in vista and windows 7 is an awesome new enhancement, but sometimes it doesn’t display correctly and there is no transparency effect.. If you try troubleshoot the problem it just states "video card driver doesn't support aero effects. i've looked online and there seems to be a lot of people with same problem, however there doesn.
